In case you haven’t already heard, the Mushroom Festival for 2020 is canceled due to COVID19. First and foremost we wanted to make sure you all know since we have first met many of you at the festival and those we have know from before we often get to catch up with at the festival as well. We will miss the hang out opportunity and being able to meet new members of our community as well. It is truly a community bonding experience for us. We love coming together as a team and building something to draw your eye in and give you a glimpse of what we can achieve while being surrounded by all of Kennett Square.

We send out an email every year in July reminding our customers that their plants are thirsty! Even with plants carefully picked for our climate, the brutally hot days can take a toll on our plants. They will need extra care and attention to make sure they have enough water to get them through heat waves.

If you’ve been reading our blogs for almost any amount of time, you’ve probably heard us say, we always recommend starting with an excellent design. I think most people would readily agree until they hear dollar signs. It is not that designs are expensive, we range from $500-$2500 depending on the scope of the project. But people give out free design/estimates? What is the difference from what we offer and what they are offering for free? In essence, are landscape design retainers worth the money? What’s the difference between us and “the other guys?”

I don’t know about you but I am itching. Itching to get out, itching to see people, but more than anything itching to go on vacation! I have been searching vacation destinations with high hopes we’ll be back to vacationing soon. I hope that traveling to our favorite destinations are coming right around the corner but in the mean time I know I need some R&R now and I imagine that you probably do as well! You may have even already had to cancel a scheduled trip!

You are probably spending more time in your backyard than ever right now! I know that I am and I’ve noticed my neighbors working on their yard more than ever too. Being stuck at home means more yard time for playing, relaxing, and probably some backyard projects as well. While this national predicament has changed what all of us thought 2020 would bring, 2020 is not over and together we can make plans for your dream backyard to be realized sooner than you think!

OUR RESPONSE TO CORONAVIRUS:

To all of our friends and loyal customers. We wanted to keep you all in the loop as we try and navigate how to handle the Coronavirus.

We want to err on the side of caution. We want to be respectful of our team as well as the vulnerable persons in our community and so as of today our office team members will be working remotely for the next few days. As long as our on site crews are healthy and comfortable doing so, they will continue to work on our current projects. We are fortunate that the majority of our team works in an outdoor environment. That being said if your project is current, or upcoming we will probably be seeing some delays due to our current national predicament. Bryan will, if not already, be in contact with you regarding any changes from what has been communicated.
