It's that time of year again: The Chestnut Hill Home and Garden Show is back for a single day on Sunday, May 18th, and admission is free! (The original event was scheduled for Sunday, May 4th, but it has been postponed to Sunday, May 18th due to inclement weather.)
Worried there won’t be something there for you? Don’t be! This year’s festival is featuring over three hundred vendors, including GreenRoots Design Firm.
We created a booth at last year’s festival and it was a great opportunity to get to know the Chestnut Hill community better and showcase a sampling of what we offer to all of the attendees at the festival!
You’ll be amazed by the variety of vendors at this outstanding event. If you love food then this is your chance to have seemingly endless choices with such a wide variety to choose from. Everything from select street vendors to the plentiful Chestnut Hill cafes and restaurants, you’ll surely find something you like.
If handmade goods are what you like, you will not be disappointed. Many artists come to showcase their work. You can find anything you’re looking for from stylish jewelry or a new piece of art to help enhance your home. Want to see artisans work their craft? At the Makers Village you can watch them in action. It’s impressive to watch them work.
Finally, the garden portion of the festival. It truly has an abundance to offer. You can find a wide variety of plants to suit your garden's needs. Find a new heirloom vegetable plant to grow or a flowering basket to add a little color or maybe take home a fruit tree to give your garden something sweet. Learn about better ways to care for your lawn or maybe beekeeping is something you’re interested in.
